Wow!!
So, today I went to see the sold out Toronto production of Mamma Mia! I have to say this about it, O.M.F.G. It didn't disappoint!! They didn't have the black lights, but they did have the bright colors and Wayne? The frog/flipper dance was absolutely hilarious!! Much of the show had a slightly warped sense of humor.
At the curtain call, the cast had everyone, and I mean, EVERYONE!! On their feet, singing, dancing and cheering, it was fabulous!!! The person playing the mother was a bit brassy... and I assume, that the usernames on the cast bios in the programme are for X. But I don't have X... too toxic. But, I digress.. it didn't stray much from the movie. They performed my all time favorite songs (Voulez Vous + S.O.S) and some that I was unfortunately not as familiar with. (lol)
When we got in at about 6pm, we had pizza, Caesar salad, and potato wedges. Soooooooooooooo goood y'all!! And D even bought us pop (diet and regular)!!
We saw Chinatown, the theatre district, the financial district (Bay) and both City Halls... both old and new. We saw the Don River where Maman looked for fiddleheads when she was younger. I saw my old college campus (Seneca Newnham campus which Justin wants to shut down cos of all the international students. Don't ask, politics be politics.)
I took so many pictures that my battery was pretty much dead by the time we got to the theatre. Some are good and some are just plain abysmal. I will upload them tomorrow... once my phone is not DOA. I should have taken my tablet bc the battery is better but shoulda woulda coulda.. eh?
Before making my bed, I took a picture of the programme and stuck it on my WP.
Oh gosh I need sleep badly!! Night y'all. Bon nuit!

My bachelor party was a bunch of friends - including women - going out for sushi. Had my (then) fiance not been working, she would've been there. We had a blast, nothing risque happened, no excessive drinking.

I was, like, 42 when I met my wife-to-be. I didn't know if I was going to have to settle or I'd just be single for the rest of my life. But we'll be celebrating our 20th anniversary next year, so we've at least got that.

I'm glad you enjoyed the show so much. :)
It took me a minute to figure out what you meant by X. LOL...................
I still call it twitter, if nothing else because I know it would piss off Musk. LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hugs, Jon
