Went to Pik Kwik today...

 Took out some $$$ for myself, Bees and our supper--ordering in Econos subs and Caesar salad, but we might order in Saturday instead bc tomorrow's lunch is leftover pizza and mac n cheese, (homemade!) so, I think that is too many carbs for sedentary ol' me. Better wait for Saturday, pasta night, or maybe I can make a very rare exception seeing that it's Bees' birthday coming up..

I heart birthdays. I enjoy seeing joy in people's faces on their special day. I think it's my dad's 89th also. Heh. Gosh I miss him. 

But anyways, don't OD on the sweets ok?? I for one do not like sweets at all. Give me crisps any day of the week. ;)

Now things (trick or treating) are picking up steam. Lots of people, dogs and perhaps spooks?? ;)

Whatevs, I wanna find a gory film on Screambox and bingewatch any of the ones I find.

I have a slightly different birthdate for your dad, if he's the right person - he'd have been 88 last Sept. I keep finding tantalising little snippets that may or may not be correct, very frustrating!

No Worries... no sweets here for my birthday... it was rather quiet (though I did do a Birthday drink).

Because of the timing the 'Feast' will be either Sat or Sun (if all goes well). Halloween was also quiet in regards to food... a beef dish I made and Greek Spinach & Cheese Pie.

No trick or treaters in our neighborhood anymore, not in a few years, as there are not really any kids here (we get imports, but they go to the Youth Center for a party rather than door to door stuff). The College students mostly party elsewhere now too.
