Nov. 3rd, 2024 02:29 pmSo, today was an ok day, I slept the morning away having woke up at 4am. This afternoon G was starting up shit, but I was just letting it shrug off of me, I think that G might start again after supper like last week, but this time I'm not letting her dictate how I feel. Last week she made me cry, but not this week. She can take her job and shove it where the sun don't shine. :)
I'm watching Ghost Rider, I saw that originally at the cinema. It was great, I watched it with Bees, and now as I sit on my bed typing this out, I'm watching it on my Samsung tab on Netflix.
I guess that I will watch Bergerac or something after this. Or maybe Eight Crazy Nights... I adore that movie. Some people like their saccharine Hallmark holiday movies? I like mine... extra sweaty... if you got that ref here: 🍪
After the dishes (if I do them) idk what I'll do... I know Bees is watching tv, and Julie is going to watch the Menendez brothers movie, but idk what I will do, probably nothing, maybe play Style Savvy. It's going to rain also, and my arthritis is telling me how.
What are y'all up to?
Sammy

Date: 2024-11-04 03:45 pm (UTC)Also, a couple of other recommendations. The Coen Brothers do brilliant films, two recommendations in particular: The Big Lebowski and Hail Caesar. And their True Grit is epic. The language/vocabulary in that film is amazing!

Date: 2024-11-05 04:20 am (UTC)ROFL! No, True Grit is a remake of a John Wayne western, only starring Jeff Bridges and much more true to the original book. See the Coen Bros/Jeff Bridges version, it makes the John Wayne version look like the lousy version that it is.

Date: 2024-11-05 04:36 pm (UTC)Chuck Conners was awesome, as are Clint's spaghetti westerns. Silverado is one of my favorites.
