I had coffee but the No Name brand is sucky. The aftertaste is disgusting. :(

Then I Was thinking about running up to Minneapolis with Maggie Monday night to visit a friend, but now the forecast is for a lot of rain. UGH......

No name coffees are often cut with other things to drop cost. Chicory root is the most likely culprit (a tradition of cutting coffee to reduce cost since the American Civil War at least) and it will both give it that aftertaste and make it more bitter.

Why the heck do ppl like hickory coffee? Thank you for clearing that up. :) I don't think I'll drink coffee much now lol
