 I love Latin. I don't consider it a dead language... same with Old English and hieroglyphs. Maybe ancient but not dead. Love Chaucer. Love ancient stuff like the Fayum portraits... love history tbh.

I had an ok day, I watched The Black String for the second time, the first time I watched it, I didn't understand it but I do now.. sometimes you need to re-watch things to see the bigger picture.

I'm going to be super busy this week so, I will try and post from my phone, and I will have a review of Mamma Mia! on either Wednesday night or Thursday. I'd better put on my good glasses for this....

I have been busy trying to watch my "Halloween" dvds, but tonight I have been watching a cake making competition show. lol....

The Great British Bake Off? I love that!! :D The Black String is great... Frankie Muniz from Malcolm in the Middle is in it. He does a good job.

My elder son studied Latin at school and passed the exam. It was considered a good choice for anyone planning on studying medicine as Latin was once used, but I don't think it is now. I'm always slow to catch onto plots, I usually lookup the recaps when it's a series but with film it's matter of watching it again, lol.

I've always loved history, it was my best subject at school and I just carried it on.
